To catch a star

"Every star up in the sky,
to see them all it took awhile,
oh how badly it hurt me
when they began to fall,
I stretched my arms as wide
as I could and tried to catch
a few...
I couldn't tough,
I did not even get half,
I only managed to catch a few
and let them go.
Oh little stars please come back
in the sky and shine as bright as
you can, come and put some
shining lights in these poor eyes
of mine who have lost their bright shine...."
